Desc: The Sulejman are cousins of Sotheria's royal family and as such their close relationship with the Caliph has afforded them great prosperity over the centuries. Their estate includes a considerable portfolio of gold and silver mines that contribute greatly to their wealth and though they do not own any land they have been granted a considerable holding within the capital of Dalmasca to call their own. Over the years they have primarily served to sustain the Caliph's treasury. This, along with their blood ties, has made them natural choices for prime positions within the nation-state's government. Many fine statesmen are produced by this family and those who choose to live within the Imperial center often take up as Quaesitors - that the common perception is they have bought their way into such illustrious careers doesn't seem to faze them nor does it actually have any bearing on their aptitude.
